Luxe Pack Underway in NY

The two-day event features 131 exhibitors, eight seminars and three special exhibits.

Luxe Pack New York, the luxury packaging trade exhibition, opens today with the largest selection of exhibitors in its nine-year history. The two-day event, located at The Altman Building and Metropolitan Pavilion (135 West 18th Street between 6th & 7th Avenues, NYC), spotlights 131 exhibitors, eight seminars and three special exhibits.

New this year, Luxe Pack is launching three specific tracks—Beauty, Wine & Sprits and Fine Foods—to help visitors easily locate the suppliers that specialize in their market. Exhibitors in each track are identified on the floor map at the show.

Beauty Packaging magazine has announced the details of the panel it will host at this year’s edition of Luxe Pack New York. The panel will take place on Wednesday at 4 pm. “Selling to a Global Market: How Cultural and Regional Relevance Affect Product and Package,” will feature Allan Hafkin, Vice President, Global Package Development, Estee Lauder; Scott Widro, Executive Vice President of Operations and Supply Chain, Gurwitch Products (he was formerly Vice President of Manufacturing and Materials Management, Chanel); and Alan Kastner, Creative Director, LPK Beauty.
